— A 14-year-old boy has died after being shot Monday afternoon inside an apartment complex in the Edgemere section of Queens, authorities said.
Police responded shortly after 3:30 p.m. to a report of a shooting at an apartment complex on Beach Channel Drive, where the teenager was found suffering from a gunshot wound to the back.
The critically injured teen was transported to Cohen Children’s Medical Center, where he later died.
