In celebration of the upcoming Bangladesh Day Parade, a special “Meet & Greet” event was held in Queens, bringing together sponsors, community leaders, and renowned celebrities in a festive atmosphere.
The colorful event took place last evening at the Gulshan Terrace Party Hall, where prominent figures including Grand Marshal M. Aziz, Chairman Attorney Moin Chowdhury, Convener Gias Ahmed, and Member Secretary Fahad Solaiman, along with other organizing committee leaders, were present.
Special guest Mr. Shahnewaz, a well-known community personality, also attended the program. The event was further graced by leading stars from Bangladesh’s television and film industry. Notable attendees included actor Emon, actress Tanjin Tisha, Richi Solaiman, Naushin, Hillaol, Nova, and popular singer Shuvro Dev, among many others. The organizers mentioned that additional invited artists are expected to arrive in New York today.
Journalists and media representatives from various television channels and news outlets were also present to cover the event. During the program, the organizing committee presented commemorative awards to the celebrity guests and sponsors in recognition of their support.
The official theme song of the Bangladesh Day Parade was also launched, adding a vibrant cultural touch to the evening. Speakers urged the community to come together and extend their full support to ensure the success of the upcoming parade.
The event concluded with a special dinner in honor of the guests, creating a warm and festive atmosphere filled with enthusiasm among the Bangladeshi diaspora.
It is worth mentioning that the Bangladesh Day Parade will take place on May 17th at 9:00 AM in Jackson Heights. Organizers have warmly invited the entire community to participate in this grand celebration.
