The silent skies of New York once again shimmered with the colors of red and green as thousands of expatriate Bangladeshis gathered in a vibrant and grand celebration of unity, heritage, and pride. The “Bangladesh Day Parade 2026” transformed the heart of the city into a living canvas of Bangladeshi culture, emotion, and identity.
The streets of New York turned into a festive corridor filled with patriotic spirit. Waving Bangladeshi flags, colorful traditional attire, and the rhythmic echo of cultural and patriotic songs created a deeply emotional and dreamlike atmosphere throughout the parade.
The participation of the Jackson Heights community added remarkable energy to the celebration. Their enthusiastic presence and vibrant caravan procession further elevated the spirit of the parade, making the entire event more dynamic, lively, and emotionally resonant.
The event was attended by Bangladesh Day Parade Grand Marshal M Aziz, Chairman Attorney Moin Chowdhury, Convener Gias Ahmed, Member Secretary Fahad Solaiman, along with other distinguished members of the organizing committee. Their leadership, coordination, and dedication played a vital role in ensuring the successful and well-organized execution of the event.
Special guest and prominent community figure Shahnewaz also graced the occasion, adding further dignity and honor to the celebration.
Various social, cultural, and professional organizations took part in the parade. Colorful floats, traditional performances, dances, and musical presentations captivated the audience.
