According to reports from Hollywood, the tragic incident occurred on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, in North Ridge Valley (Reseda & Lassen area), where Faheem died on the spot following a severe car accident. He was on his way to work, as usual, at around 7:35 AM when the accident took place.
Faheem was the son of Mirza Robiul Alam Babu. Their family hails from the Jhigatola Tallabagh area of Dhaka, Bangladesh. They immigrated to the United States approximately one and a half years ago. Just a few months earlier, after Eid, Faheem had traveled to Bangladesh and got married. He is survived by his parents and a younger brother.

Community member Shafiul Alam Babu from Los Angeles informed that Faheem’s janaza (funeral prayer) and burial are expected to take place next Monday.
It is also noted that two other Bangladeshi expatriates in Los Angeles passed away this week. The late Mohammad Mezbah Uddin Shahid (60) and Rajib Chowdhury (42) were laid to rest today (Thursday) at Palmdale Muslim Cemetery following their funeral prayers.
A deep sense of grief has fallen over the Bangladeshi community in Los Angeles as multiple tragic losses occurred within the same week.
