NEW YORK — Amid the busy lives of immigrants, the Bangladeshi community came together to celebrate their roots, traditions, and bonds of friendship at the Ruposhi Chandpur Foundation’s Annual Picnic 2026. The event turned into a vibrant gathering of Chandpur residents and community members, filled with joy, enthusiasm, and togetherness.
The day-long celebration featured family gatherings, traditional Bangladeshi cuisine, cultural performances, sports activities, raffle drawings, and various entertainment programs. Families and friends enjoyed a memorable day filled with laughter, conversations, and cherished moments.
Leaders of the organization said that the Ruposhi Chandpur Foundation is not only a social organization but also a platform that strengthens unity, cooperation, and mutual support among Chandpur community members living abroad. Such events play an important role in connecting the younger generation with Bangladesh’s rich culture and heritage.
From morning until evening, the picnic area remained lively with the participation of people of all ages. Children, young adults, and families enjoyed the festive atmosphere, creating a feeling of “a piece of Chandpur” far away from home.
The successful annual picnic once again demonstrated that distance cannot weaken the connection to one’s homeland. Through unity, culture, and love, the Chandpur community continues to build a stronger and more connected presence in the diaspora.
