Award recognizes artistic excellence and performance contribution in the U.S. music scene

December 10, 2023, Arts & Culture Desk | Bass guitarist A.M.M. Newaj Sharif, professionally known as Bassman Newaj, has been honored with the *NRB Award 2023* in the category of Best Musician of the USA (Bass Guitarist) at a formal ceremony held in Woodside, Queens (ZIP Code 11377). The event brought together musicians, cultural figures, and invited guests representing a range of artistic disciplines.

The NRB Awards are presented as part of a recognition initiative focused on highlighting individuals contributing to creative and performing arts. In the music category, recipients are selected based on performance quality, technical ability, and consistent involvement in professional musical activities, according to event organizers.

During the presentation segment, the award was officially presented to Newaj by performing artist Bindhu Kona in the presence of fellow musicians and attendees. The honor of Best Musician of USA (Bass Guitarist) reflects recognition within a structured evaluation framework acknowledging active contributors to the music industry.

Based in New York, A.M.M. Newaj Sharif has developed a growing presence in the American live music circuit. His participation in performances and collaborative projects, including engagements associated with platforms such as Guitar Center events, has contributed to his visibility within the regional music community.

Born in Bangladesh on January 7, 1994, Newaj is known for his versatility as a bassist, blending influences from rock, jazz, classical, pop, and folk traditions. His artistic approach emphasizes both technical skill and expressive performance, allowing him to adapt across a wide range of musical settings.

Over the course of his career, he has worked with various artists and ensembles in both Bangladesh and international contexts, performing in concerts, festivals, and studio-based projects. His work reflects a combination of traditional musical grounding and contemporary stylistic experimentation.

In addition to performing, Newaj has contributed to music education by mentoring aspiring musicians and promoting structured learning in bass guitar performance. His teaching approach emphasizes creativity, discipline, and emotional interpretation in musical practice.

The NRB Award 2023 marks a notable milestone in his ongoing career, recognizing his contributions to live performance and his continued activity within the evolving global music landscape.
