— Traveling from the United States to Bangladesh, Alomgir Hossain, an executive member of the Helping Hand Foundation and a Bangladeshi expatriate living in America, recently visited Bogura with his family to witness the foundation’s humanitarian activities firsthand.
After traveling from Dhaka to Bogura, Hossain, accompanied by his wife, one son and two daughters, visited several of the foundation’s ongoing initiatives and met with beneficiaries who have received support through the organization.
During the visit, Hossain spoke directly with men and women who had previously received financial assistance, sewing machines, housing support and other forms of humanitarian aid from the Helping Hand Foundation. He listened to their personal experiences, learned about their current circumstances and discussed how the foundation’s assistance has impacted their lives.
The visit went beyond observation and conversation. Hossain personally distributed clothing and financial assistance among beneficiaries, offering practical support to families facing economic hardship.
His family members also took part in the visit, allowing them to witness closely the foundation’s efforts to support disadvantaged and vulnerable people in the Bogura community.
Hossain’s visit reflects a deep sense of connection to his homeland and a commitment to giving back to communities in need. Despite living thousands of miles away in the United States, his journey to Bogura demonstrates that compassion and responsibility know no distance.
The Helping Hand Foundation expressed gratitude to Alomgir Hossain and his family for their continued support and commitment to humanitarian service.
