Rahul Gandhi Alleges Vote Theft in 70–80 Constituencies, Says Modi Could Not Have Become PM Otherwise

In a bold political statement, Indian National Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has claimed that Narendra Modi would not have become Prime Minister had there not been widespread electoral fraud in the recent general elections. Speaking at a press conference in New Delhi, Gandhi alleged that vote tampering took place in 70 to 80 constituencies across the country.

“The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) manipulated the results in several key seats. If not for the vote theft, Modi wouldn’t be the Prime Minister today,” Rahul Gandhi said, asserting that the Congress-led INDIA alliance had a strong electoral mandate that was deliberately undermined.

Rahul further accused the BJP of using state machinery and institutional pressure to manipulate the electoral process. “This wasn’t a fair fight. It was a systematic distortion of democracy,” he added.

The Congress party and its allies have raised concerns about the transparency of the voting and counting processes in multiple states. Some leaders have called for a formal inquiry into the alleged electoral malpractice.

The BJP has dismissed these allegations as baseless, asserting that the election was conducted in a free and fair manner under the supervision of the Election Commission of India.

This explosive accusation from Rahul Gandhi comes at a time when political tensions remain high in the country, and the opposition is mobilizing to challenge the legitimacy of the current administration. While the BJP has retained power, the INDIA alliance has emerged significantly stronger in this election, setting the stage for a more combative parliamentary session ahead.

Rahul Gandhi concluded his remarks with a call to action: “We will not stay silent. The truth will come out, and democracy will prevail.”
