Sahid-Nessa Home Care Hosts Second Annual Soccer Tournament 2025 in Warren, Michigan

On July 26, 2025, the soccer field of Beer Middle School in Warren, Michigan, turned into a vibrant celebration of community and sports as the Second Annual Soccer Tournament, organized under the sponsorship of Sahid-Nessa Home Care, took place in full spirit and energy.

A total of five teams participated in this much-anticipated tournament. In a gripping final, Bismillah Football Club clinched the championship title, narrowly defeating Terminator FC with a score of 1-0.
The title of Player of the Tournament was awarded to Mahfuz Ahmed, whose exceptional performance impressed players and spectators alike.

• Offside Lions Football Club
• Falcons Football Club
• Terminator Football Club

The organizers expressed heartfelt gratitude to key contributors Zahidur Arif, Foysal Ahmed Tasim, Motiur Rahman, Faifur Shueb, and all team members for their dedication and teamwork that made the event a success.

The entire soccer ground turned into a festival-like atmosphere, buzzing with excitement as young soccer enthusiasts, players, and families gathered to celebrate the spirit of sportsmanship.

Sumon Kabir, the head of Sahid-Nessa Home Care, affirmed their commitment to hosting this event annually.

“We’ve been involved with this soccer group for years—some of these players have been with us since their teenage years. This is more than a game, it’s a legacy,” he said.

He credited the consistency of this event to the unwavering support of his peers including Imran Ahmed, Kasem Ahmed, Mursalin Chowdhury, Dulal Ahmed, Mostofa Ahmed, Nazmul Chowdhury, Zakaria, and many others.

Sumon Kabir also called upon the youth to reduce their time spent on video games and online activities, and instead come out to the field to engage in physical sports. He indicated that more young players will be encouraged to join the group in the coming years.
