WASHINGTON, Nov 4 — A new survey shows that the U.S. President’s approval rating has fallen to just 37%, marking one of the lowest points of his second term. The poll found that 63% of Americans disapprove of his performance, signaling widespread public dissatisfaction.
The survey, conducted from October 27–30 among 1,245 adults, also found that 68% believe the country is “doing badly” or “very badly.” Economic concerns, cost of living, and employment topped the list of voter worries.
In foreign affairs, 56% of respondents feel the President’s decisions have harmed the U.S.’s international standing, while only 32% think his actions have helped. Regarding presidential power, 61% believe he has overstepped his authority.
What This Means:
This sharp decline comes amid economic pressures and the looming threat of a federal government shutdown. The poll reflects a growing erosion of public trust in the President’s ability to address key national issues effectively.
Looking Ahead:
With the upcoming midterm elections, this poll sends a clear message to the administration. Whether the President adjusts his policies in response to public sentiment or faces further political challenges will be determined in the months ahead.
