Many of the city’s business leaders were skeptical of Mayor Zohran Mamdani when he took office.
Now it would seem some of their fears have been justified by the proposed tax hikes being pushed both by the mayor and, in one case, by Gov. Kathy Hochul.
Steve Fulop, the president and CEO of The Partnership for New York City, a business coalition that includes the CEOs of more than 300 companies in the city, joined NY1’s Bobby Cuza on “Inside City Hall” Friday to discuss more.
He is also the former three-term mayor of Jersey City.
