A solemn Dua and Milad Mahfil was held at the Jackson Heights Islamic Center & Mosque in New York with a deeply spiritual and respectful atmosphere, praying for the eternal peace and forgiveness of late Amena Begum.
The event was organized by Ruposhi Chandpur Foundation Inc. to seek the blessings and forgiveness of Almighty Allah for the departed soul of Amena Begum, the beloved mother of Mr. Md. Saiful Islam, Senior Vice President of the organization. She recently passed away in Bangladesh.

The special prayer gathering was held on Monday, July 13, after Maghrib prayers. The Imam of Jackson Heights Islamic Center & Mosque led the Milad and special Munajat, where prayers were offered for the forgiveness of the deceased and for her place in Jannatul Ferdous. Prayers were also made for patience, strength, and comfort for the bereaved family members.
The program was conducted under the overall management of Ruposhi Chandpur Foundation Inc. in an orderly and dignified manner.
Among those present were the organization’s advisors Harun Bhuiyan, Faruk Hossain Majumder, Mamun Miaji, Freedom Fighter Monir Hossain, and Mazharul Islam Chowdhury Musa, along with President Raju Saha Biplob.

Also attending were Senior Vice President Md. Saiful Islam, Vice Presidents A.B. Siddique Patowary, Lutfor Rahman Chunnu, Mohammad Nurul Amin, Md. Jasim Uddin, Shakil Mia, and Saiful Islam Liton; General Secretary Sohel Gazi; Joint General Secretary Abdur Rahim Bhuiyan; Assistant General Secretaries Abu Taher and Golam Azam Rocky; Organizing Secretary Faisal Patowary; Publicity Secretary Foyez Ahmed; renowned children’s author and Literary Affairs Secretary Humayun Kabir Dhali; Office Secretary Osman Omar Faruk; and Executive Members S.M. Mahbubur Rahman Titu, Alamgir Hossain, Mohammad Borhan Uddin, Md. Abu Yusuf, and Manik Raja.
The gathering was also attended by Shah J. Choudhury, Founder of Shah J Group, along with distinguished leaders from various social and regional organizations, community members, and a large number of devoted worshippers from the New York Bangladeshi community.
At the conclusion of the Mahfil, everyone prayed for the departed soul of late Amena Begum and expressed heartfelt sympathy and solidarity with her grieving family.
The gathering reflected the strong bonds of compassion, unity, and humanity within the Bangladeshi diaspora community in New York.
