The ruins of the Twin Towers were once called “Ground Zero,” a place that symbolized devastation. But over the years, that site has also become a symbol of resilience and renewal.
From the rubble rose the One World Trade Center, a powerful declaration that destruction will never have the final word. The memorial pools, engraved with the names of the victims, remind every visitor that the world must remember, but also rebuild.
The story of 9/11 is not only about loss—it is about the human spirit’s ability to rise again. It tells us that even after unimaginable tragedy, hope can be built brick by brick, memory by memory, and act by act of kindness.
On this anniversary, let us choose to be builders of peace, not carriers of hate. Because the greatest tribute to the victims of 9/11 is a world where such tragedies never happen again.
