Entertainment Desk: Netflix has unveiled the first glimpse of “Bridgerton” Season 4, teasing a glittering new romance between Luke Thompson’s Benedict Bridgerton and Yerin Ha’s Sophie Baek. The hit period drama will return in two parts — Part I on January 29, 2026, and Part II on February 26, 2026.
The teaser opens with Benedict meeting Sophie at a lavish masquerade ball. The scene sets the tone for a reimagined Cinderella-inspired story within the opulent “Bridgerton” universe.
Based on Julia Quinn’s 2001 novel “An Offer from a Gentleman”, the new season centres on Benedict’s romance with Sophie, the daughter of an earl forced into servitude by her cruel stepmother. In the Netflix adaptation, Sophie’s surname has been changed to Baek, a nod to Ha’s Korean heritage.
According to Netflix’s Tudum, Sophie is “a victim of tragic events, forced to work for a demanding employer in the ton — until one fateful night at Violet Bridgerton’s masquerade ball changes her life forever.”
Season 4 will also see the return of familiar faces.
The “Bridgerton” anthology continues its tradition of love stories across the sprawling Bridgerton family. Season 1 followed Daphne and Simon’s passionate courtship, Season 2 chronicled Anthony and Kate Sharma’s slow-burn romance, and Season 3 explored Penelope and Colin’s long-awaited friends-to-lovers journey.
