Sultana Parvin Shimul, Dhaka: On April 24 (Wednesday) was the 28th wedding anniversary of Hosneara Chowdhury, a member of the Editor’s Council of The Generation, and the editor of Rupasi Bangla and the founder of Shah Group, Shah J Chowdhury.

On this happy occasion, Shah J. Chowdhury hosted a lunch for children from underprivileged, lower class and lower middle class families at a restaurant in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh.

The lunch was held in the Euro Garden Restaurant, which is located on the fifth floor of Dhaka’s renowned Mouchak Market .

About this, Shah J. Chowdhury said to Rupasi Bangla, “This arrangement for children is a gift for my wife.”

He remarked, “It’s a surprise gift for my beloved. I know that this children’s event will make her much happier than purchasing her an expensive gift from the market.”

Hosneara Chowdhury and Shah J. Chowdhury wed in 1996 based solely on their own will. They have been happily married for 28 years. Currently living in New York City this couple have two daughters and a son.

Mubin Khan, executive editor of The Generation and Ruposhi Bangla, was in charge of the overall management of the event with the association of Shanta Islam, a member of the Editorial Council of The Generation.
