EAST NEW YORK, Brooklyn (WABC) — A 17-year-old girl is recovering after she was shot multiple times in the parking lot of a McDonald’s in Brooklyn late Monday night, police said.
The shooting happened just before midnight outside the fast-food restaurant on Pennsylvania Avenue in East New York.
Police said the teenager was struck several times in the parking lot. She was taken to Brookdale University Hospital, where she was listed in stable condition.
Investigators have not said what led to the shooting, and no arrests were immediately made.
Police are searching for the gunman as the investigation continues.
