Two employees were injured after an angry customer opened fire inside a discount store in Jamaica, Queens. The incident occurred around 5:10 p.m. on Saturday at a shop located on Jamaica Avenue.
How the Incident Unfolded
According to police, the customer initially got into a heated argument with two store employees. After the confrontation, he left the store—only to return moments later with a gun.
He then fired multiple shots at the employees, striking one in the chest and the other in the leg.
Condition of the Victims
• Employee shot in the chest: Critically injured and currently hospitalized.
• Employee shot in the leg: In stable condition.
Both victims were transported to a nearby hospital immediately after the incident.
Suspect Still at Large
Police say the suspect fled the scene right after the shooting.
