Have we forgotten? The true duty of journalism is never to serve the powerful or the wealthy. It is to be the voice of society, standing with the people. Uncovering the truth, fighting for justice, and boldly opposing falsehood and wrongdoing—that is the standard of genuine journalism.
We remember all the courageous journalists around the world—those who risk their lives to reveal the truth for the people. With their pens, they protect human rights and build fearless resistance against injustice and corruption. Their courage illuminates society and shatters the darkness of wrongdoing.
On the other hand, those who turn journalism into a servant of the powerful or wealthy must be unequivocally condemned. Malpractice in journalism spreads misinformation, breaks public trust, and obstructs the path of justice and integrity.
News is not just information. It is the voice of justice, honesty, and courage for the people. Today, we demand that the dignity of journalism be restored. Let journalism be the true representative of truth, the guardian of justice, and the defender of humanity. Because authentic journalism is, above all, a relentless fight for courage, justice, and humanity.
